ichael W. Pulscak Obituary
Michael W. Pulscak aged 77 passed away on Wed. July 29th, 2009 at Georgetown University Hospital. Mike was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Michael and Anna (Kranyak) Pulscak and was a long time resident of Fort Washington, Md. He graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.E.A. in Operations Research from George Washington University. At Drexel Mike was a star southpaw pitcher and played for the Chicago White Sox farm team. After serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, Mike worked for various computer companies and co-founded Computer Dynamics Corporation. He had retired from the Department of Energy/Renewable Energy. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church-Broadcreek and had been an active volunteer in the local community youth sports programs. He enjoyed boating and collecting stamps, coins, and classic Russian collectibles. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Edith Pulscak, daughter Susan Pulscak, son Michael P. Pulscak(Jeanne), granddaughters, Ashley, Anna, and Ella Pulscak, sisters-in-law Adeline Pulscak and Audrey Parsons, nieces Judy Pirhala and Christy Parsons, great nieces Stephanie and Alexandra Pirhala, and great nephew Marc Pirhala. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brothers, Michael Jr. and Cyril Pulscak, sisters Olga and Mary Pulscak and Ann Hoffman, brothers-in-law Paul Hoffman and William (Fred) Parsons and niece Cheryl Parsons Darnell. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at St. John's Episcopal Church-Broadcreek (9801 Livingston Road, Fort Washington, Md. 20744). The family will receive friends in the church from 10 AM until the service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church or the Ft. Washington Food Pantry, both to the above address.
