Michael A. Santini - Obituary

ichael A. Santini, a lifelong resident of Edgewater, MD, died on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Known to everyone as Mike, he was born on July 12, 1993 in Gaithersburg, MD to Sergio A. and Kimberly Y. Santini. Mike graduated from South River High School in 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Towson University in 2016. He worked as a Physical Education Teacher for special needs children at Stephen Decatur Middle School in Clinton, MD, and Princeton Elementary School in Camp Springs, MD. Mike enjoyed all sports, especially MMA and football. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings, Enrico and Francesca Santini, both of Huntingtown, MD, and four nieces, Giuliana, Giselle, Andrea, and Alessia Kerr. Friends are invited to celebrate Mike’s life on Friday, June 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 11 am.
