Michael Sullivan - Obituary

ichael "Mike" Wayne Sullivan, Sr., a 43- year resident of Riva and previously of Annapolis died April 10 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 62. Born November 12, 1950 in Annapolis, to the late Marjorie E. and Ernest J. Sullivan, Sr., Mike graduated from Annapolis High School. He was employed as a salesman for CRW for 46 years, where he was a "Salesman of the Year" six times. Mike was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 296, in Annapolis. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed bowling, socializing with family and friends, entertaining poolside with karaoke and following his grandchildren's sports activities. He was preceded in death by two siblings, John L. Sullivan and Virginia Morris. Mike is survived by his wife, Frances D. Sullivan, whom he married on June 14, 1969; three sons, Michael (Kelly) W. Sullivan, Jr. of Shadyside, Steven D. Sullivan of Chester and Robert (Denise) T. Sullivan, Sr. of Edgewater; three brothers, Ernest James Sullivan, Jr. of Shadyside, Reggie Sullivan of Annapolis and Bo Sullivan of Stevensville; two sisters, Jean Poland of Arnold and Linda Duvall of Edgewater; and four grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Sullivan of Shadyside, Robbie Sullivan, Jr. of Edgewater and Vanessa Palau of Centreville, VA. Friends are invited to Mike's Life Celebration Sunday, April 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 15 at 11am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
