Michael Vivian Toussaint - Obituary

ichael Vivian Toussaint transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on February 27, 2023 in Virginia. Michael was born in Good Hope, Commonwealth of Dominica. In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, Michael was also a devoted breadwinner. He took great pride in providing for his family for the better part of half a century. When he wasn’t spending time with his beloved family, Michael enjoyed watching the news, viewing Catholic channels and shows, working outdoors, and, on occasion, socializing with his colleagues from the other Caribbean islands. He is preceded in death by his wife Verna; parents Selwyn and Emerant Toussaint; brothers Mystar, Hilford, and Ulrich. He is survived by sons Hoover, Kentish, and Cane Toussaint; daughter Brenda Core; grandchildren Michael and Mikayla Core, and Tayib and Ulani Toussaint; sisters Linda Payne and Izaline Jules; brothers Ferdinand and Rupert Toussaint. Other family and friends: Mary Toussaint & Family, Myrle Francis & Family, Clarita Ankeney & Family; Jules Family, Hurtault Family; Olive Harlow, Vita Samuel, Nurse Dubique, and Clarance Prevost; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
