ilburn W. Michael
Milburn W. Michael, a 23 year resident of Queenstown, MD, and an over 30 year resident of Annapolis, died on April 25, 2009 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home due to complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was 70.
Born January 23, 1939 in Cumberland, Maryland to Milburn A. and Ethel G. Michael, he worked as a security officer for the State of Maryland at the Annapolis State House as well as the State Senate Building. Milburn served in the US Air Force.
His hobbies included working on word search puzzles, model trains, and watching baseball, especially the Baltimore Orioles.
He was preceded in death by his father Milburn A. Michael and his sister Gloria Pappas. Milburn is survived by his wife Sharon Ruth Michael, of Davidsonville, MD, his mother Ethel G. Michael of Cumberland, MD and his children, Milburn Michael of Los Angeles, California, Lisa Michael of New York, and Illya Michael of Easton, MD, his step-children; James Aisquith of Davidsonville, MD, Dorothy Smith of Glen Burnie, MD and Thomas Glover of Cambridge, MD. He is also survived by his brother Milburn A. Michael, Jr. of Eldersburg, MD .Also survived by 11 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 28, 2009 at 2:30 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD. Arrangements are by the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, Edgewater, MD.
