ildred Anna Burgess of Huntingtown, Maryland died Monday, May 4, 2009 at her residence due to natural causes. She was born August 25, 1922 in Littleneck, New York to the late Edward and Virginia Biggar. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Huntingtown, Maryland and Neeld Estates Citizens Association. She enjoyed quilting, reading, travelling, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her Friday afternoon junkets to the movies. She is survived by 2 sons, Dennis Burgess of Davidsonville, Ted Burgess, Jr. of West Palm Beach, Florida and one daughter, Diane Burgess of West River, one brother Edward Biggar of Fairfax, Virginia, five grandchildren, Kevin, Nicole and Michael Burgess, Sr., Kimberly St. Amant and Tammy Austin, seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Megan, Amanda, Morgan and Michael Burgess, Jr., Jacob St. Amant and Kelsea Austin and three daughters-in-law, Wendy Howell, Mary Burgess and Juanita Burgess. Friends are invited to Mildred's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 7 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. where services will be held on Friday, May 8 at 11:00AM. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvert Hospice, P.O.
