Mildred Gail Hill - Obituary

ildred Gail Hill, a resident of Edgewater, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center at the age of 76. Gail was raised in Garrett County, MD by her parents Ervin and Beuhla Georg. She moved to the DC suburbs as a young adult, where she raised a family and pursued a career in accounting. She retired to Edgewater to be close to her daughter. During retirement, she enjoyed relaxing at home, visiting with her daughter and spoiling her grand dog. Her happy place was sitting by the water, and she loved fresh air and breezes by the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Wayne Georg. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia, her son-in-law Rob, and her two nieces, Tiffany Stewart and Brianne O'Brien. It was her wish to be cremated. There will be a private gathering for family at one of her favorite waterfront restaurants in the spring.
