Mildred Skolnick - Obituary

ildred Virginia Skolnick, 95, of Annapolis and previously of the Heritage Harbour, died of natural causes May 10 at the Spa Creek Rehabilitation Center, Genesis Healthcare. Known as "Millie," Mrs. Skolnick was born May 22, 1911, in Washington, D.C. She was employed as a payroll clerk at Folger Nolan Fleming, a stock brokerage in Washington. Her interests including reading, bowling and watching football, golf and television, particularly "Wheel of Fortune." In 1933 she married David Skolnick who died in January 1973. Surviving are her son, Barry D. Skolnick of Mount Airy; three daughters, Dale Ciuffreda of Annapolis, Judy Bryant of Middletown and Dawn Barnhill of Mechanicsville; one sister, Aleathea McKallor of Crofton; and 10 grandchildren. Services and burial are private. Arrangements are by Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater.
