Mildred Trott Sherbert - Obituary

ildred "Mobie" Trott Sherbert, 89, a 28-year resident of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis, MD and previously from Owings, MD, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in South River Health and Rehabilitation Center, of natural causes. Mildred was born on October 29, 1928, in Friendship, MD to the late Olie Trott and Linda Allen. One of her weekly highlights was going to the salon to get her hair done and socializing with the ladies she considered dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Sherbert in 1987; a nephew, Edward Sames, Jr.; and a brother, Albert Lester Trott. Mildred is survived by her niece, Joan Sames of Edgewater, MD; dear friend and longtime caregiver, Sarah McGowan; grandniece, Michelle Collett and her husband, Don and their daughter, Sophie of Edgewater, MD; grandnephews, Bryan Agee of Edgewater, MD and his son, Brendon of Clearwater, FL. Also survived by a niece, Patricia Jamerson and her husband, Tim and their children, Lucas, Logan, and Levin Jamerson, all of Edgewater, MD; and a sister, Margaret Schofield of Edgewater, MD. Friends are invited to celebrate Mildred's life at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Saturday, January 20 from 11 am until her funeral service begins at 1 pm.
