Milton Miskew - Obituary

ilton Louis Miskew, 85, born on October 2, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at home in Cary, NC. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. Milt honorably served his country during WWII and later spent 43 years employed by Bendix Avionics in Baltimore and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He retired to Annapolis, MD and later to Cary, NC to be close to his beautiful grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane, and sons Michael, Steven and wife Stephanie, and Douglas and wife Tracy, and grandchildren Nicholas and Abigail. He was a strong yet gentle man with a keen wit and a loving heart. Friends are invited to Milton's Life Celebration on Tuesday, December 15 from 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, December 16 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
