orris Schulman
Morris “Mo†Schulman, a 58 year resident of Annapolis and previously of Monticello, New York, died on October 18, 2008 at his home after a short illness, He was 83.
Born February 7, 1925 in Monticello, NY to the late Louis and Esther Schulman, he graduated from Monticello High School and later from the University of Colorado. Mo worked as a mechanical engineer for the U.S. Naval Engineering Experiment Station, Internal Combustion Engine Laboratory in Annapolis, MD.
Morris served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and received the Purple Heart. He also received the European African Middle East Service Medals, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
Morris was a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge. He was past chairman of the Society of Automotive Engineers, Baltimore Section, and a member for 57 years.
Mo enjoyed spending time with his many friends, defending animal rights causes, and Cars, Cars and more cars.
Morris is survived by his sister Helen Schulman of Sun City Center, FL, his nephew and niece Mark and Jill Schulman of Monticello, NY, his niece Samantha Schulman Lara and her husband Donald of Wurtsboro, NY, sister in law Estella Schulman of Coconut Creek, FL and brother in law Irving Meyer of Debary, FL. Morris was predeceased by his brothers Max and David Schulman, his sister Frieda and his loving companion Marie Velenovsky.
