Muriel Monaghan - Obituary

uriel E. Monaghan, 83, an eight-year resident of Annapolis and formerly of New York, died of natural causes Nov. 12 at the Annapolitan Assisted Living in Annapolis after a three-month illness. Born March 14, 1926, in Belfast, Ireland, the daughter of the late Robert John Monaghan and Mary Alice Donnelly, Ms. Monaghan was a high school graduate. She worked as a club hostess in New York for more than 40 years. Her interests included animals, especially dogs. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis. Funeral services will be held in Ireland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401
