Myrtle Jasper - Obituary

yrtle Irene (Oien) Jasper, 86, a resident of Annapolis since 1955 died on September 28, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born July 14, 1926 in Stanley, ND, she was employed as a Supervisor in the office of Clerk of Court. Myrtle was a former member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church and a charter member of Annapolis Lutheran Church. She loved cats and watching "TV Land". She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Linwood Jasper, Jr., whom she married on June 19, 1947 in Hawaii while he was stationed there for the US Navy. Myrtle is survived by her 4 children, Andrea Baltimore Pessoney of Ocean Springs, MS, Ernest "Woody" L. Jasper, III of Edgewater, Kim A. Jasper of Glen Burnie and Lani J. Schumacher of Denton; seven grandchildren, Christopher Baltimore of Purcellville,VA, Braden and Camryn Schumacher of Denton, Nicholas Olinger, Ernest "Cody" L. Jasper IV, Brandie Andrews, all of Edgewater and Jason Lavers of Maryland; also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Myrtle's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, October 2 from 6 to 8pm and on Wednesday, October 3 from 10am until time of service at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Myrtle's name to the Annapolis Lutheran Church, 1203 West Street, Suite F, Annapolis MD 21401.
