Nancy H. Beall - Obituary

ancy Holland Beall. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Nancy, a devoted wife, sister, stepmom and dear friend. Born on September 24, 1950 in Catonsville, MD to the late Gordon and Anne Holland, Nancy grew up in Catonsville on Rolling Road and attended Samuel Ready School. She graduated from Washington College with a B.A. in liberal arts. In 1970, she met the love of her life, Roland Wayne Beall, who was managing a parachute center. Nancy fell in love with all aspects of aviation, flying and sport parachuting. She loved all animals, especially her chocolate lab, Blue. She rode horses in the Big Hole Mountains of Idaho. Nancy and Wayne owned and operated Wayne’s Signs in Annapolis for 38 years. She was an incredible artist who designed signs and beautiful stained glass masterpieces. She sailed the Chesapeake Bay and flew for 50 years all over the world-the greatest copilot ever. Nancy will be remembered for her warm and caring spirit, her infectious laughter and her devoted love for her family and friends. Her presence in our lives will be deeply missed. Nancy is survived by her husband, Roland Wayne Beall; her sister, Sally Ross of Jacksonville, FL; her brother, David Holland of Catonsville, MD; her stepson, Claude Timothy Beall of St. Michaels, MD; her grandson, Duncan Beall, USMC and her nephews, John Ross, Scott and Danny Holland. Friends are invited to celebrate Nancy’s life on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Davidsonville, MD. Condolences may be made by using the Memories tab on this page.
