Nancy Crawford - Obituary

ancy H. Crawford, 68, a 32 year resident of Annapolis, died at home on August 15. Nancy was born February 7, 1946 in Washington, DC to the late Jane and Jones Atkins, Jr. She worked for the Annapolis Post Office for twenty three years, then was a bus driver for special needs children for Montgomery County before becoming a caretaker for her mother. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, doing needlepoint, bowling, taking care of her puppy "Gibbs" and her three cats. She is survived by five children, Scott Gurule, Toni Olinghouse, Wendy Bragunier, Johnny Gurule and Michael Flaherty; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, August 21 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Interment is private.
