Nancy Williams Denton, 77, of Brandywine, MD was called to her eternal home on October 7, 2022. Nancy was born to the late James Edward Williams and Beverly Arlene Miller on January 23, 1945, in Washington, DC.  

Nancy's favorite pastime was weekly dinner followed by competitive, and quite rowdy, couple’s card games with her cousin.  In her earlier years, Nancy also enjoyed competitive recreational volleyball with her husband Tom, beating him at tennis, and bowling league at Dee's Lanes. Once grandkids started arriving, Nancy devoted her time to spoiling her grandchildren to their delight.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Allen Denton, and granddaughter, Madison Claire Curran.  Left to mourn are her sister, Arlene Mardelle Saunders; daughters, Regina Denton Clowser (Jeff) and Marcy Denton (Joe Curran); grandkids, Crystal and Ryan Curran, Anthony, Vincent, and Joseph DiPietri, Benjamin and Nathan Clowser; and numerous nieces and nephews.

While Nancy began her lifelong dream of becoming a recreational pilot, her flying time was cut short when she was diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association (here or by mail, P.O. Box 7023

Friends are invited to celebrate Nancy’s life on Sunday, October 16 from 12 pm until a funeral service begins at 2 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Condolences may be made by using the Memories tab on this page.
