Nancy Curtis Main - Obituary

ancy Curtis Main passed away on December 18, 2025. She was 95 years old. She was born in Woodbridge, Virginia on February 21, 1930 to the late Halcom Ward Curtis and Janet Sykes Curtis. She previously lived in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina before residing in Annapolis for the last 10 years. Nancy was Secretary and Treasurer of the C&P Telephone Company Pioneers in Washington, DC. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Grasshopper Golf Group, and the Audubon Society. Her hobbies included golf, family, gardening, birdwatching, and Bridge. Along with her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years, Irwin I. Main, her brother Mitchell F. Curtis, her sister Martha Jane Schmidt, her stepson Gregory Main, and her stepdaughter Mary Main. She was survived by her son Halcom E. Curtis of Crownsville, MD, her stepchildren Stephen G. Main of Matthews, NC, Michael Main of Thurmont, MD, Kevin Main of Florence, SC, Alan Main of Gastonia, NC, Angela Main of Waynesboro, VA, Theresa J. Skinner of N. Richland Hills, TX, eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchildren. Service will be private. Online condolences may be made using the Memories tab on this page.
