Nancy Tietge - Obituary

ancy Phillips Tietge, age 77, of Annapolis, MD died on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to complications following a stroke. Born on November 3, 1934 in Baltimore, MD to the late Theodore and Caroline Phillips, Nancy was the liaison for the Anne Arundel County Stroke Club for the past twenty-five years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, her family and serving the Lord. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Theodore A. Tietge, who she married in 1956; a sister, Evelyn Phillips Reisig and a brother, Frederick Phillips. She is survived by two daughters, Carrie T. (Steve) Porco and Paula T. (Denver) Sanner; a sister, Caroline Phillips Truitt and four grandsons, Steven and Michael Porco, Theodore (Laura) and Jake Sanner. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 3:00pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church.
