Nancy Young - Obituary

ancy Lee Young, 90, also known as Nan or Nancy, was a resident of Deale, MD for over 60 years. Previously she lived in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. Nancy died at home on March 31, 2020 of natural causes. Born September 12, 1929, in Milwaukee, WI, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College. Nancy worked as an analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, National Cathedral Choral Society, and St. Marks Episcopal Church in Deale, MD. Nancy enjoyed art, poetry, classical music, gardening, hiking, kayaking, and European travel. A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church at a future date.
