Nobuko Armstrong - Obituary

obuko”Nobi” Armstrong, 79, a 21-year resident of Annapolis and previously of Lanham, MD, passed away at her home on May 14, 2015. Born on November 1, 1935 in Japan to the late Masao and Kiyo Kojima, Nobi met and married her husband, Dean “Ike” Armstrong, in Japan while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. Ike returned to the United States with his bride in 1959. Nobi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked as an office manager in the medical practice of Dr. Martin Wolfe in Washington, DC. She enjoyed bowling, and golf. She was also artistic and loved to sew, knit and crochet. In addition to her husband, Ike, Nobi is survived by one son, Paul Armstrong his wife Marga and their two children Eric and Emily of Brookeville, MD; two brothers, Hirsoshi Kojima of Tokyo, Japan and Kiyoshi Kojima of Fukuoka, Japan.
