Nola Lamp - Obituary

n, Thursday, December 31, 2015, Nola Gertrude Lamp, 87, passed away due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. She was the daughter of the late Ida Bell and Jesse Eugene Weaver; beloved wife of the late Earling Clarence Lamp; loving mother of Judy Lynn (Neal) Wells and Jesse George Lamp; stepmother of Earling Joseph Lamp; grandmother of Charles Neal Wells, Jr., Jesse George Lamp, Jr., Earling Stephen (Lynnette), Thomas Edward and Alexander Neal Lamp; great-grandmother of Elijah Nolan, Graham Shipley and Neal Patrick Lamp. Nola was a former employee at Montgomery Wards department store for over 20 years. She was a devoted caregiver to her children and grandchildren. She dearly loved her animals and helped rescue many dogs and cats. Nola also enjoyed baking. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday, January 4 from 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Tuesday, January 5 at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
