orma Rabulan Bayona, age 82, died at Adventist Fort Washington Medical Center on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:42 p.m. She was born on August 9, 1943 in Donsol, Sorsogon, Philippines to Antonio Aquino Rabulan and Florentina Galban. Norma married her husband Arturo on January 1, 1970 at St. Joseph Church in Quezon City, Philippines. In 1973, she immigrated to the United States with her family where they resided in California, then Washington D.C. and final made their permanent residence in Fort Washington, Maryland. Norma dedicated 25 years of service at Holiday Inn Washington Capitol in D.C before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, dancing, and bowling. Her greatest happiness was spending time with her family, relatives and friends. Those who knew her will remember her for her cheerfulness, generosity and kindness. In her later years, Norma lived with dementia. Although the disease gradually affected her memory, it never diminished her warm smile or gentle demeanor. Whenever music played, she would happily start clapping and dancing. She brought so much comfort and joy to those who loved her. Norma is survived by her daughter, Janet; her son, Darrell; three sisters, Merlita (Marbella), Eufrosina (Agulto), and Clara (Baradia); one brother, Cesar Rabulan; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arturo; loving parents, five brothers; and two sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to Norma's Life Celebration from 10 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M on Friday, July 3, 2026 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD 20746. Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
