Norman Kerns - Obituary

orman L. Kerns, a 40-year resident of Davidsonville and Edgewater , died on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Maryland. He was born on September 12, 1935 in Beltsville, Maryland and graduated from Laurel High School. Norman worked as a roofer for most of his life and served his country in the United States Air Force. His hobbies included fishing and horse racing. He is survived by his special friend, Anna M. Riley; his children, Richard, Dennis and Dede Kerns, all of Georgia and Catherine Kerns of Illinois. Friends are invited to Norman’s Life Celebration on Thursday, March 8 from 11:00am to 12 noon at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. Immediately following a graveside service will be held at 1:00pm at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1080 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD.
