Ollie Cotterill - Obituary

llie was born July 17, 1920 in Dumas, Texas. She was the daughter of William Thomas and Lora Delphia (Henderson) Mills. Ollie is survived by four children; Hayden Mills Cotterill and his wife Maryann of Northville, MI, Merrilea (Cotterill) Lamborne of Edgewater, MD, Carla (Cotterill) LaFever and her husband Samuel, of Leesburg, VA, Wray Q. Clayton Cotterill and his wife, Kimberly of Santa Rosa, CA. and seven grandchildren – Stephen Cotterill, Jennifer Cotterill, Holli Holmquist, Neil Lamborne, Miles Lamborne, Alex LaFever and Spencer LaFever. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Hayden Cotterill, brothers E. Q. Mills and Clayton Mills and sisters, Claudie Lee (Mills) McFarland and Myrtle (Dooley) Byrd. Friends may visit at George P. Kalas Funeral Home at 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 27. The funeral service will take place at 4:30 pm on December 27 at Unity by the Bay Church, 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18, Severna Park, MD 21146. Burial will be in Waters Cemetery in Jasper, Missouri. The family suggests donations to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 in lieu of flowers.
