Owen A. Paddy - Obituary

wen A. Paddy (aka Chubby) passed away in the early morning hours of 3 June 2017; he was 82 years old. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Wilbert Paddy and Lucy Aisquith; his son Richard 0. Paddy; grandson Daniel C. Fejeran; brothers Norman, Erving and Murray Paddy; and sisters Joanie Paddy and Patricia West. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Martha Laster Paddy and three daughters, June Fejeran (Rick), Teresa Newsome (Al) and Debbie Stockett (Edward); grandchildren John and James Stockett; Eddie and Christina Beall; LeAnna, Sarah and Maria Ward; and Deborah Ann Paddy; great-grandchildren Alaina Stockett and Chloe Aisquith; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Paddy was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1959, having served as a military police officer while stationed in Frankfurt Germany. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for AA County, Reese King Trucking, Reds Dove Inc. and Chaney Enterprises. His hobbies included Brace Beagling, breeding and training many field champion beagles, and he was a long-time member of the Patapsco Ridge, Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia Beagle Clubs.
