amela “Pam” Rice, a lifelong resident of Edgewater, died suddenly in her home on October 10, 2013.
Born April 18, 1965 to Bill and Bettie Sheridan, she graduated from South River High School in 1983 and from Towson University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in business. Pam managed the Baltimore sales office for the Brown-Forman Beverage Company in the early '90's. She was a member of the Davidsonville United Methodist Church, where she played in the Bell Choir and taught Sunday school for many years. Pam was a devoted mother and volunteer at school and church.
In addition to her parents, Pam is survived by her husband, Dave Rice; daughter, Jenna Rice of Edgewater; brother, Bill Sheridan of Edgewater; sister, Kim Grimsley of Edgewater; and nieces, Elizabeth Sheridan of Edgewater along with Blair and Emma Bartholomew of Austin, TX.
A memorial service will be held at the Davidsonville United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 15th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Davidsonville United Methodist Church Music Department, 819 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035.
