Pasquale Bonanni - Obituary

asquale Bonanni, 85, a resident of Stevensville, MD since 1999, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on July 29, 2012. Born February 6, 1927 in Ovindoli, Italy to the late Ines and Ignazio Bonanni, he was a employed as an executive chef for the U.S. Capitol for over 20 years. Pasquale was the 1985 Chef of the Year and was noted in the Congressional Record on March 13, 1991 for his years of service to the U.S. Capitol. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Angelo. Pasquale is survived by his wife, Anna; one daughter, Mary; one son, Robert (Diane); six grandchildren, Lisa, Julie, Lauren, Patrick, Nicole and Joseph; a great-grandchild, Keegan; and two brothers, Mario and Benny. He is also survived by a large, loving extended family and friends here and in Italy. Friends may call at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD on Friday, August 3 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 11am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
