Patricia Ahearn - Obituary

ATRICIA C. AHEARN (Age 85) A resident of Oxon Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 15, 2010 at her home in Oxon Hill. Pat lived in the Washington, DC area all of her life, where she was born and raised, attended school, worked for the State Department, and met her late beloved husband John "Jack" L. Ahearn Jr.. Pat was the loving twin sister of the late Jacquelin "Jackie" C. Goodnight and sister of the late Joyce Crumley and is survived as the much beloved mother of Marie Penny, John L. III, Joseph P. and James E. Ahearn; grandmother of Kathleen Fus, Molly, Blaise, Charlotte, Rachel and Kristen Ahearn; sister-in-law of Arlene Ahearn, Dr. Marie Lucy Ahearn, Lester Crumley, the late Dr. Paul J. Ahearn, and the late Randall E. Goodnight; aunt of James, Edward, William and Charles Goodnight, Maryjo Ordway, Diane Coulter, Marie Ahearn, Jean Kelly and great-aunt of numerous neices and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Mrs. Ahearn's Life Celebration on Saturday January 15th, 2011 from 9:30am until Christian Burial Mass at 10:30am at Saint Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Burial at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery joining her late husband. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital.
