Patricia A. Citrano - Obituary

atricia Ann “Pat” Citrano, 76, passed away on September 27. She was a loving daughter, a kind sister, and a caring aunt to her family. Pat was a part of the eMerge, Inc. family for many years as well. Everyone who knew Pat loved her. She had a bright smile, and sweet disposition and loved to chat with anyone she met. Her happiest times were spent with her mother, Luralene Loey Barrack Kerschbaum, who loved and cared for her until her passing in 1997. They loved to go shopping, to the movies, and to travel. Pat loved to sit at her mother’s table as she prepared meals and when her family gathered at their home. Holidays were especially joyful for her. Pat had an amazing recall of every family member’s birthday! Pat was a member of the eMerge, Inc. community for many years. She participated in their day program and eventually became a full-time residential member. She enjoyed the providers who took such great care of her and were invested in her happiness and health. Pat made many friends in the community as well. Pat is survived by her brother, Robert (Debbie) Citrano, and his children, Lisa Citrano and Tracy Citrano; a niece, Teresa (Richard) Pierrie; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Citrano; and her sister, Lurlene Renee "Renny" (William Thomas "Bucky" DeAtley) DeAtley . A private celebration of Pat’s life will be held in the spring. With humble appreciation for their tender care of Pat in her final days, the family asks that any memorial donations be made to eMerge, Inc.
