atricia Jean Eberly (Novak) of Stevensville, MD passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 25, 2016 at the age of 75. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Berwyn Heights, MD, she married in 1959 and her primary residence was in Oxon Hill, MD until 1998. She was the owner of G.A. Eberly Plumbing & Heating in Camp Springs, MD.
Born in 1941, Mrs. Eberly was the daughter of the late Lillian E. Goodwin and Lawrence J. Novak. She was the loving wife of the late George A. "Tony" Eberly; devoted mother to her four daughters: Christina L. Eberly of Oxon Hill, MD, Lisa Eberly (John) Braden of Queenstown, MD, Jo Eberly (Scott Knodle) of Lothian, MD and Aimee R. She is also survived by her siblings James (Mary dec'd) Novak, Richard (Ginny) Novak, Mary (Joe) Castricone and Catherine Novak, as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Mrs. Eberly touched so many people with her compassion, kindness and generosity, and entertained all with her comedic storytelling and sharp wit! She was well-liked and respected by neighbors and business associates alike, who often referred to her as a “very special lady.” She was extremely hard-working and dedicated, but her happiest times were spent with her late husband and in spoiling her grandchildren.
