Patricia Anne Glynn - Obituary

atricia "Patsy" Anne Glynn, a 5-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Upper Marlboro, MD, died, of a broken heart, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Brightview South River in Edgewater, MD. She was 84. Born September 14, 1932 in New York, NY, she was a homemaker most of her life. Patsy was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Edgewater. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, puzzles, painting. Patsy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of 65-years of John J. Glynn; mother of John (Kathy) Glynn, Jr., Elaine (George) Heinlein, Thomas (Susan) Glynn, Noreen (Joseph) Davis, Anne Marie (Paul) Grenaldo and William (Joan) Glynn; grandmother of William, Lauren, Maggie, David, Michael, Erin, Meghan, Joseph, Molly, Jane, Drake, Helen, Rose and the late Kevin; great-grandmother of Maxwell, Nathan and Alison; sister of Helen, Eleanor, Lillian and the late Frederick, Dorothy and Mary. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Sunday, January 22 from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 23 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater, MD.
