Patricia O. Kalamvocas - Obituary

atricia "Pat/Patty" Osborne Kalamvocas, 75, a 7-year resident of Shady Side, MD, and previously of Laurel, MD died on August 10, 2022, in Annapolis, MD. Born March 26, 1947, in Squire, WV, to the late Juanita Osborne Ramsey and Robert Lee Osborne, she attended Lynn View High School. She was a homemaker most of her life who enjoyed dancing, music, art and was an avid Elvis fan. Patricia was also an active school volunteer as a substitute teacher and nurse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kalamvocas; a sister, Janice Fields; two brothers-in-law, Dick Fields and Hezikiah Kindle; and two infant brothers. Patricia is survived by three children, Gus Kalamvocas and Kimberly Long of Shady Side, MD, and Gay Schaeffer of Watertown, NY; a sister, Judith Kindle of Kingsport, TN; four grandchildren, Candace Brumit, Samantha Turner, Joshua and Nikolas Long; and two great-grandchildren.
