Patricia E. Schellmnan - Obituary

atricia Emily Schellman “Pat,” 90, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, passed away on April 6, 2025, at her home in Annapolis. Pat was born on September 2, 1934, in Annapolis, MD, to the late Thomas and Emily Townshend. She grew up on her grandfather’s farm and was a 1953 graduate of Annapolis High School. She received a business management degree from the University of the District of Columbia. Pat began her working career at Thomas Somerville Plumbing in Parole before moving on to work at City Hall in Annapolis. In 1970, Pat took a position for the Federal Government working with the FDA and later with the Departments of Defense and Immigration and Naturalization. She retired from the Department of Immigration and Naturalization in 1995. After retirement, Pat worked at the South County Library in Edgewater for 15 years. She was a member of Annapolis Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Annapolis Elks. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Earl W. Schellman. She is survived by her cousin, Sandra W. Rivera, her stepdaughter Deborah L. Levi and her husband, James. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Pat's life on Monday, April 21, 2025 for a viewing at 11 am followed by a funeral service beginning at 12 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
