atricia “Pat” Violette, age 73, a twenty five year resident of Riva, MD died Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Boston, MA. Born in Troy, NY on October 20, 1937, Pat was a graduate of Catholic High School in Troy. She retired last June after working as an accounting administrator with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers in Annapolis, MD for nineteen years. A member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Annapolis, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling and sports. She is survived by her husband of forty eight years, Joseph Violette ; a son, Brian Violette of Rockland, MA; two daughters, Terry Violette of Newton, MA and Kris Marshall of Clifton, VA; two sisters, Colleen Sand of Clifton Park, NY and Jeanne Rafferty of Troy, NY; six grandchildren, Colleen, Kyle and Kelsey Marshall all of Clifton, VA and Caleb, Sarah and Hannah Violette all of Rockland, MA; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Pat’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, October 29 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, October 30 at 9:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD. Interment St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
