Patricia A. Young - Obituary

atricia “Pat” Young, 80, of Edgewater, MD and previously of Kensington, MD passed away in Annapolis on August 23, 2023. Born on January 26, 1943 to the late John Crawford Bolt and Eloise Grey, she was a member of Mayo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilt-making, needlepoint, and her beloved dogs, Bella and Q-Tip. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Young; her son, Johnny Young; her daughter, Lynne Bransome, and her grandson, Joshua Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Jones; four granddaughters; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews, beloved friends, and one special nephew, Rick Young. A funeral service will be held on September 30, 2023 at 1 pm at Mayo United Methodist Church, 1005 Old Turkey Point Rd. Edgewater, MD 21037. Interment will be private.
