Patrick Devlin - Obituary

atrick "Pat" Joseph Devlin, a resident of Annapolis, MD since 1970, died on Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home. He was 80. Born May 14, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, he graduated from Southeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA. He moved to Washington, DC in 1958 and was employed at Brody Brothers Distributors, where he began his career as a clerk and after 35 years retired as Vice President of the company. Mr. Brody wanted it to be known he was a hard working, intelligent, trusted friend and confidant. He enjoyed sailing his many sailboats, golf, carpentry and was a loyal Nationals fan. Pat was a quiet, quick witted man who had many long standing friends. Pat is survived by his wife, Dolores Devlin, whom he married on November 18, 1967; a daughter, Anne Devlin of Washington, DC; son, Michael (Katriena)Devlin residing in Duxbury, Massachusetts with four Grandboys, Carter, Ryan, Tobin and Miles; three sisters, Mary Devlin of Ardmore, PA, Elizabeth McGeady of Drexel Hill, PA and Cass Devlin of Oakhurst, CA.
