atrick Andrew “Pat” Kernan, Sr., 62, a resident of Edgewater, MD for thirty-two years, died on Thursday, August 27 at his home. Born on July 15, 1958 in Washington, DC to the late Betty and Howard Kernan, Jr., Pat enjoyed working with his hands. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janet Lee Kernan; his children, Patrick (Tammy) Kernan, Jr. of West Virginia and Steven (Kati) Kernan of Edgewater, MD; his brothers, Howard “Buddy”, Louie and Glenn Kernan and his grandchildren, Donavan, Dennis, Sabastian, Christopher, Tabitha and Annabell. Friends are invited to celebrate Pat’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, September 3 from 10 am until his funeral service begins at 12 pm.
