Patrick Nolan - Obituary

atrick Joseph “P.J.” Nolan, Sr., 68, of Edgewater, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on September 13, 2014. Born May 8, 1946 in Tampa, FL to the late Jerry and Mary Nolan, P.J. was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps then became a US Capitol Police Officer and retired after over 25 years of service. In his spare time he was an avid Harley Davidson rider and was a former charter boat captain. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lynnette Nolan and two brothers, Tom and Mike Nolan. He is survived by one son, Patrick Nolan of Wilmington, NC; three step-children, Cody, Shannon and Christina; one brother, Daniel Nolan; four sisters, Debbie Nolan, Belinda Puller, Terry Clendenin and Mary Selig; and two grandsons, Parker and Spencer Nolan of Wilmington, NC. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 2pm at the American Legion Post #226, 830 Mayo Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. Interment is private.
