n Thursday May 26, 2016 in Clinton, Maryland. Beloved husband of Carol Ward, loving father of; Kevin H. Murphy, Catherine R. Cannon and Kelly A. Covert, grandfather of four, brother of; Terry, Brian, Kevin and Phillip Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin J. and Winifred M. Ward, brothers; Martin J. and Dennis Ward. The family will receive friends at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home on Tuesday, May31, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made made to Children's Hospital Foundation, 111 Michigan Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20010.
