Patty Beall - Obituary

atricia “Patty” Ann Beall (née Alejo), 77, a valiant fighter, passed away on January 27, 2024 after a 3+year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia together with Myeloma. Born in Washington, DC on March 16, 1946 to the late Alice and Alipio Alejo, Patty grew up in Rockville, MD and graduated from Peary High School. She retired from Verizon after 25 years of service. In 2002, Patty and her husband moved to Leesburg, FL to be closer to Mickey and Minnie whom she adored. Patty’s warm, genuine smile and gentle nature made a lasting impression on all who knew her. She enjoyed shopping, day trips, cruising, dining out and conversing with her Florida neighbors and friends about family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patty is survived by her beloved husband, Albert “Al” Beall; daughters, Dawn (Spencer) Wade of Arnold, MD, Marlena (John) Clementson of Edgewater, MD and Shannon (Troy) O’Connor of Severna Park, MD; grandchildren, Shelby-Lynn (Bryan) Vaughn, Mary (Tyler) Bryant, Sonny Wade, Carter Wade, Morgan Clementson, Trevor Clementson, James O’Connor and Erin O’Connor; and great-grandchildren, Scott Vaughn, Connor Bryant and Madilyn Bryant. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Patty’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, February 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD on Wednesday, February 7 at 11 a.m. Private burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
