aul Joseph Adkins, 36, a 10-year resident of Crofton and previously of Bowie, died June 18 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, following a 2-month battle with bladder cancer. He was born November 18, 1974 in Philadelphia, PA and attended elementary school at St. Pius X in Bowie before graduating from Bowie High School. He was a service technician for Mermaid Water. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Paul enjoyed watching all sports. He also loved to sing Karaoke and play poker. His greatest passion though was spending time with his friends, his dogs and, most of all, his family.
Paul was predeceased by his stepson, Christopher Jones, and brother, David Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Jenny Adkins, whom he married in 2001, a stepdaughter, Carrie Jones of Crofton, three sisters, Michelle Hepner of Columbia, Leigh Goff of Annapolis, and Bernadette Russell of North Carolina.
Friends are invited to Paul’s Life Celebration on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service begins at 11:00 a.m. at Riva Trace Baptist Church, 475 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD.
