Paul Catterton - Obituary

P

aul Catterton, 86, of Arnold, died unexpectedly Aug. 31 after a brief stay at AAMC. He was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Baltimore, to the late Mary (Muzz) and Charles Catterton, and later graduated from Annapolis High School. He served for several years in the military during WW II in the South Pacific, and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was a perfectionist in all that he accomplished and donated many hours in his younger years to assist in building classrooms in the lower level of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Arnold where he was a longtime member. Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy, whom he married June 19, 1948, in Baltimore; two daughters, Brenda Biles of Annapolis and Patricia Klasson of Arnold; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road, Arnold. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Asbury Church Memorial Fund. A guestbook for online condolences can be found at www.kalasfuneralhomes.com
