Paul Webber - Obituary

aul Edwin Webber, a two year resident of Shady Side, formerly a 20- year resident of Bowie, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family. Paul was born on September 26, 1935 in Washington, D.C to the late Frederick and Rosemary Webber. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and a Masters degree from Penn State University in Meteorology. Paul retired after a 40 year career from the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (N.O.A.A.), where he worked as a Meteorologist. He enjoyed coaching soccer, horticulture, studying the weather and watching the Washington Redskins, Penn State football and Maryland basketball teams. His greatest joys were spending time with his children, grandchildren and pets. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Priscilla Webber of Shady Side, his children; Laura (John Lohr) Watkins of La Plata, Douglas (Veronica) Webber of Mayo, Theodore (Ariadne) Webber of Shady Side and Linda (Lee) Brandt of Pasadena, one brother; Frederick Webber of Pikesville and 11 grandchildren; Genevieve, Randy, Brooks, Kelly, Amanda, Samantha, Faith, Lee, Katerina, Tatyana and Clara Rose. All services and interment will be private.
