P

auline Nealon Lieb, 89, a one-and-a-half year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Fenwick Island, DE died on May 20, 2012. She was born on May 10, 1923 in Washington, DC to the late William and Ruth Nealon. After graduating from McKinley Technical High School in Washington, she worked as a librarian for the Government Printing Office for 25 years. Pauline was a member of St. Luke and St. Andrew Catholic Parishes in Ocean City and the Fenwick Island Women’s Club. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, shuffleboard, visiting with family and caring for her dogs. One of her treasured memories was a visit in 2006 to Gort in County Galway, Ireland to visit her father’s birthplace. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Louis M. Lieb, in 2005. She is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Lieb Classen of Gainesville, VA, Colleen Lieb Wilson of Davidsonville, MD, and Kathleen Lieb Sydoryk of Carbondale, CO; and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Samuel and Emily Wilson, Kimberly and Kelly Classen, and Luke and Benjamin Sydoryk. Friends are invited to Pauline’s Life Celebration on Thursday, May 24 beginning at 1PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 2PM. Interment Friday, May 25 at 11 AM at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 or Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation, 2001 Medical Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
