Peggy Marlowe - Obituary

eggy Miller Marlowe, of Grasonville, MD and previously of Alexandria, VA, died at Somerford Place in Annapolis, MD on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Her children were by her side. She was 80. She was born December 22, 1934 in Darby, PA to the late Joseph and Margaret Miller. Throughout her career, Peggy was employed with Gray Line Tours, Government Accountability Office, Garfinckels, Solovey Jewelers, Jay Marlowe Jewelers and J & K Jewelers. She enjoyed antique shopping and jewelry. She was a devoted caregiver to her Mom. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jay Marlowe and Robert Garrison; and a brother, Joseph Miller, Jr. Peggy is survived by her children, Joseph (Mary) Wheeler of Waldorf, MD, Pam (Bruce) Shaffer of LaPlata, MD and Anne (Lawrence) Karpman of Laurel, MD; her former husband, Charles Wheeler; a sister, Kathleen Rollins of Chambersburg, PA; and eight grandchildren, Patrick and Erin Wheeler, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Sansbury, Heather Shaffer and Joseph, Kelsey and Bridget Karpman. Friends may call at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, July 7 from 12pm until a Mass of Christian Burial is offered at 1pm.
