ied On Wednesday, January 16, 2013; the beloved husband of the late Ethel "Sissy" Ayres; father of Geoffrey (Rose) Ayres, Catherine (Daniel) Graham, Barbara (John) McManus, Charles (Julie) Ayres, Christine (Christopher) Keaveny and Jennifer (Richard) McEachin; grandfather of Brian, Lisa, Stephanie and Mark Ayres, Michelle Welsh, Justin, Jessica and Jack McManus, Jake and Josh Ayres, Rilley and Shea Keaveny, Jack, Kevin and Nolan McEachin. He is also survived by two brothers, John (Lynn) Ayres and James (Pat) Ayres. Relatives and friends are invited to Peter's Life Celebration on Monday, January 21 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 22 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2200 Calloway St., Hillcrest Heights, MD. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
