Peter Habib - Obituary

eter James Habib, 50, a 10-year resident of Annapolis and previously of Washington, D.C., died of pneumonia Dec. 27 at Georgetown University Hospital. Mr. Habib was born May 7, 1957, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in communications. He was the owner of Madison Marketing in Annapolis. Mr. Habib was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis. He enjoyed boating and sports, and was an avid New York Yankee fan. Survivors include his wife since 1992, Sandra Habib; one daughter, Jordyn Habib of Annapolis; one brother, George Habib of Reedville, Va., and one sister, Lila Hirschmann of Pompano Beach, Fla. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association, 800 Wyman Park Drive, Baltimore, MD 21211.
