eter Enoch Wood, 77, passed away at his home in Annapolis, Maryland on November 22, 2017. Born in Ames, Iowa, he was the son of the late Colonel Thomas Clagett Wood, Jr. and Harrie Rebecca Enoch Wood. He lived in Annapolis, Maryland and Columbia, South Carolina until the WWII American occupation of Germany. The family moved to Heidelberg where he attended elementary school, before relocating to Munich. In 1952 the family moved to Some Day Farm in Lothian, Maryland. Peter first attended Southern High School and graduated from Woodward Prep in Washington, D.C. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1960; he served as an air traffic controller in Japan, the Philippines, Viet Nam and Germany. In 1965 he married Esther Ann Munro. They moved to Lothian, Maryland and he became an ATC supervisor at Andrews Air Force Base tower. After retirement, Peter worked for ten years in a commercial real estate in Annapolis. Peter loved seeing his grandchildren, reading and enjoyed golfing with his friends. He was a lifetime member of St. James Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife Ann, his sons Andrew (Laura) of Annapolis and Aaron (Cheryl) of Lothian, two grandchildren, and his sister Harriet Crisp of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is predeceased by his brother Thomas Clagett Wood IV and sister Sallie Head. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4 at St James Church in Lothian.
