Philip Kloby - Obituary

hilip James Kloby, 79, a resident of Annapolis, MD for more than forty years and previously of Edgewater, MD, died on Friday, May 11 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to pulmonary disease. Born on January 8, 1939 in Brunswick, MD to the late Albert Kloby and Mary Jane Haley Quick, Phil was a graduate of Annapolis High School. He was a sales distributor for Katcef Brothers of Annapolis. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phil is survived by his sons, Michael John (Sheri) Kloby of Edgewater, MD and Brian Kloby of Tracys Landing, MD; his granddaughters, Christine Rooke, Rebecca Sprague and Sarah Kloby. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Philip's life on Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 12 PM until a service begins at 1:30 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037.
