Philip A. Wilson - Obituary

hilip Alfred Wilson “Phil”, 64, a resident of Riva, MD for six years and previously of Edgewater, MD, died of liver cancer on Wednesday, September 22 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on September 6, 1957 in Louisville, KY to the late William and Maria Wilson, Phil was a 1976 graduate of Bladensburg High School. He owned and operated Central Glass and Mirror and was a proud 45 year member of the International Union Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT)- Glaziers Union Local 963. Phil enjoyed the day to day operation of his union glass company, looking at real estate and classic cars, especially his Plymouth Prowler and 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Catherine Wilson; his sons, Philip (Christie) Wilson of Grasonville, MD, Brian (Shaddine) Wilson of Stevensville, MD and Eric Wilson of Riva, MD; his sister, Virginia (Paul) Hunter of Owings, MD and his grandchildren, Nolan, AJ, Peyton and Reese Wilson. Memorial service will be held at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, October 2 at 11 am with a visitation following until 1 pm.
